Terms of Service
Last updated 2026-09-18.
These terms govern your use of Sliparo, the site at sliparo.com and the application at app.sliparo.com. They are written to match what the product actually does today. Highlighted passages are decisions still to be taken.
1. What Sliparo is
Sliparo is a personal receipt tracker. You photograph a receipt, upload a PDF, or paste its text; an AI model reads it and proposes a draft — supplier, date, total, and every line; you check and correct the draft and save it. From your saved receipts Sliparo gives you per-project and per-area spending, budgets, a price history of what you have bought, and warranty and return-deadline reminders per item. You can export everything you have saved at any time.
Sliparo is provided by Provider: legal name, address, company code ("we"). How we handle your data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
2. What Sliparo is not
- It is not accounting or bookkeeping software, and it is not tax, legal or financial advice. Nothing it shows you is a statement of what you owe or may claim.
- It is not a substitute for keeping the original receipt. Where a law, a warranty, an insurer, an employer or a tax authority requires the original document, keep the original; a saved copy in Sliparo may not be accepted in its place.
- It is not a certified reading of your receipts. The AI draft is a starting point, and the record that counts is the one you confirm (section 5).
- It does not connect to your bank, card or any payment account, and does not move money.
- It is not a shared or multi-user workspace: one account belongs to one email address. Confirm: is sharing one sign-in within a household permitted? The Pricing page's "Household" tier implies shared access that the product does not have today.
3. Access is by invitation
Sliparo is invite-only. You can sign in only if an administrator has added your email address to the allow-list, either directly or after you asked for access through the form on the site. There is no open sign-up. We decide, at our discretion, whom to invite, and we may remove an address from the allow-list at any time, which ends the ability to sign in; the data behind the account is then handled as described in section 11.
During the invitation phase the product is a work in progress. Features may appear, change or disappear between one visit and the next, and we may reset or limit things while we learn from real use.
4. Your account
- You sign in with Google or with an emailed magic link. Your account is tied to your email address; keep control of that mailbox and of the device you stay signed in on, because whoever can use them can use your account.
- You must be at least 16 / 18 years old.
- Tell us promptly at contact email if you believe someone else has used your account.
5. Receipts and AI drafts — your responsibility
Every receipt Sliparo reads is read by a machine, and machines misread receipts: a wrong digit, a missed line, a date read the wrong way round, a category that does not fit. Sliparo shows you the draft, flags what it can check (for example when the lines do not add up to the total), and saves nothing until you do. By saving a receipt you confirm it. You are responsible for checking a draft before you rely on it — for a budget, a warranty claim, an expense report, a tax return, or anything else.
Sliparo keeps a permanent record of what the model returned, separate from what you saved, so you can always see the difference.
Currency conversions use European Central Bank reference rates for the receipt's date, and are shown as approximate. They are for your overview, not a rate anyone will settle at.
6. Usage limits
Each AI reading costs us money, so every account has a monthly limit on how many receipts it can have read. The limit is set by your plan and shown to you in the app; an administrator may raise it for a specific account. When the limit is reached, AI reading is refused until the next calendar month; you can still enter receipts manually and use everything you have already saved. Limits may be changed as we learn what real use looks like.
7. Price
Sliparo is free of charge during the invitation phase. Pricing is not set: the plan structure shown on the Pricing page is an outline, the amounts are placeholders, and nothing is billed. Before anything is ever charged, we will publish the actual prices, tell you in advance, and ask for your agreement — no account will be moved onto a paid plan without it. Decide: what happens to existing invite-phase accounts when pricing lands — a free tier kept, a notice period, both?
8. Acceptable use
Use Sliparo to track your own receipts, or receipts you are entitled to keep records of. Do not:
- upload documents you have no right to hold or process, or other people's personal data without a basis for doing so;
- use the service to store anything unlawful, or to build a dataset from receipts that are not yours;
- probe, overload, scrape or interfere with the service, try to get around the usage limits or the allow-list, or access another account;
- reverse-engineer or copy the service, or use it to build a competing one;
- share your sign-in with people it was not issued to.
We may suspend or remove access for a breach of these rules.
9. Your data
Your receipts and everything you build on them are yours. We use them only to run the service for you, as set out in the Privacy Policy: reading them with the AI model you asked to read them, learning your categories for your own future receipts, and keeping them until you delete them. You can export all of it, at any time, from Configuration.
A shared price-comparison feature is built into Sliparo but switched off. When it is enabled, contributing to it will be opt-in / opt-out, contributions are de-identified (product, supplier, unit price, date — nothing that identifies you), and records already contributed cannot be withdrawn afterwards because nothing links them to you. The Privacy Policy, section 10, describes it in full; nothing is shared from your account until it is on and you have chosen to take part.
10. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Sliparo available but make no promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may take it down for maintenance or change it at any time. We depend on third parties — hosting, database, the AI provider — that can fail independently of us. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose; the export exists for exactly that.
If we decide to shut the service down, we will give you at least notice period, e.g. 30 days notice by email and keep the export working until the end of that period.
11. Ending your account
You can stop using Sliparo at any time, and you can delete your account and its data yourself from Configuration, or ask us to by emailing contact email from the address on the account; what is deleted, and what by design cannot be, is set out in the Privacy Policy, section 8. If we remove your access, your data is kept for period, e.g. 30 days so you can ask for an export or for deletion, and deleted after that unless the law requires otherwise. Confirm this retention-after-removal rule; nothing enforces it in the product today.
12. Warranty and liability
Sliparo is provided as is, during a build phase, free of charge. To the extent the law allows, we give no warranty that it is fit for any particular purpose, and we are not liable for losses that follow from relying on an unchecked draft, from a misread receipt, from an unavailable service, or from a lost receipt you did not keep the original of. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer. For legal review: liability cap and consumer-law carve-outs for the chosen jurisdiction.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of jurisdiction — Lithuania?, and disputes go to its courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection that applies where you live. Confirm.
14. Changes to these terms
We will update these terms as the product grows — when pricing is set, when the price engine is switched on, when invitation-only ends. The date at the top changes with every revision. For a change that materially affects you, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect, and continuing to use Sliparo after that date means you accept the revised terms.
15. Contact
Provider name, postal address, contact email.
